| | | Bennett hybridsWe have a huge number of unregistered hybrids from the breeding program of the late Russell Bennett, who grew lilies at Innisfail, Alberta. Russell sold us his entire collection (excluding Martagons) before moving into town. Many of Russell's hybrids are very early flowering, and his collection included a number of trumpet hybrids and crosses that have been very interesting to what develop over the years. Hardy they most definitely are! |

| | | Fellner hybridsMr. Fred Fellner would have to be the most well known of Canadian lily breeders who is still actively breeding lilies. He grows in one of the harshest climates in Canada, near Vermilion, AB. Fred has well over 50 varieties already registered over the past 30 plus years. In this album you find many, many hybrids under evaluation at our lily ranch. From each year we have selected from Fred, there is almost always one or two worth registering. |

| | | Sims hybridsDavid Sims is on the leading edge of hybridizing in my opinion, making crosses with a large and wide variety of lily classes. Hybrids seen here are the result of seed purchased from David. He grows lilies in Idaho, USA. |

| | | Willoughby hybridsTerry Willoughby would have to be the most cautious breeder I have ever come across, waiting 10 years and longer before choosing to register any hybrid. This makes his lilies a sure bet for garden quality and longevity. Terry has registered a few varieties in the past 5 years, in this album you see some hybrids we grow that were at one time used in his breeding program. |

 | GardensPhotos of the various lily beds & gardens at Valley K Lily Ranch. I love looking through these myself and comparing from year to year the changes that have taken place. We purchased the property in 1989, and started constructing lily beds in a big way about 1995. Almost every year since then, a new raised bed has been built and dedicated with a unique name and planted full of lily bulbs. Soon, my 5 acres shall be full and there will be no more room - that will be my signal that it is time to retire! |

| Individual LiliesHere are the named varieties categorized by their commonly known classifications such as asiapet, orienpet, LA hybrid, etc. Also used are the RHS classifications such as asiatics, martagons, etc.
Within each class are albums created using the name of each variety. I have not distinguished between those officially registered and those with unregistered or unacceptably registered names as per the official RHS Lily Registrar.
I admit to being rather anal regarding correct naming and identification of lilies, and for good reason. Misnamed varieties of any type of plant have always been a sore point with me personally; I detest ordering one thing and receiving something else completely different! I made it a priority from the inception of my business to always maintain correct naming and thus offer a money-back guarantee that my customers will receive the correct named variety they ordered. Since many of our hybrids come directly from the breeders we eliminate some issues in this regard, but there is always room for error. As far as I can tell, all varieties found in my albums have been identified or confirmed as correct. If you feel there is a mistake please take the time to let me know by email so I can investigate and correct it if necessary. |

| | | AsiaticsThis is the largest category of lilies we grow at our zone 3 location as they are the hardiest. We have well over 1000 unique varieties of asiatics, both registered and evaluation lilies growing on our farm at this time.
Just click on an alphabet range or a letter to open up the corresponding category of asiatic lily names beginning with that letter. |
